You source, sign, and manage the creator roster for every campaign in your pod. The craft is keeping a hard bar on who gets signed while the machine runs at full output every single day. Get the list right and the rest of the machine has something worth working with.
The mandate
Two numbers tell us whether a Creator Success Director is winning. Both move together or the campaign stalls.
- Roster strength — the proven earning power of the creators you sign, measured by 28-day GMV in the brand's category. You buy demonstrated results before a single video goes up.
- Fill rate — the share of contracted posts that land on the day they were promised. A roster posting four days a week is running at 57%, and the client feels it before the report shows it.
The work
- Sourcing — build the roster before the campaign opens. Start inside Creator Circle, then databases, then direct outreach.
- Negotiation and signing — you get a budget and you spend it. Set rates creator by creator and lock each to a daily post.
- Onboarding — briefed, sampled, and posting inside five days. Sample logistics sit with you.
- Roster management — audit weekly on 28-day GMV, median views, and compliance. Replace softness early.
- Reporting and attribution — keep the CRM current and catch mismatches, unlinked accounts, and quiet direct retainers.
How we judge a creator
The people who sell on TikTok Shop are marketers who happen to be on camera. Follower count is close to meaningless here — judge on GMV, repeatable reach, and conversion.
- Category GMV, last 28 days — $10K is the floor, $60K+ is where real campaigns get built.
- Median views over peak views — reach that repeats is the asset.
- Selling behavior on camera — do they demonstrate, explain the benefit, and close.
- Posting history — daily volume predicts campaign performance better than any single result.
- Audience match — compared against the brand's own top performers.
The first ninety days
- Days 1–30 — learn the network and the bar. You can open a creator profile and call the decision in under a minute.
- Days 31–60 — own the roster. Fill rate holds above 90% without anyone escalating.
- Days 61–90 — set the pace. Bench depth built ahead of demand across all five brands.
Requirements
- Hands-on TikTok Shop experience — daily contact with creators as a creator, brand operator, or community manager.
- Platform fluency — Affiliate Center, GMV Max, sample flows, and commission structures.
- Project management under load — hundreds of live creator conversations, nothing dropped.
- Data instinct and defensible judgment — you make roster calls with real money attached and no consensus to hide behind.
- US-based on EST hours. Miami preferred.
Apply for Creator Success Director
Include a short note naming three TikTok Shop creators you would sign for a $50M skincare brand, and why you picked them. That note tells us more than the resume does.
